Banstead Area University of the Third Age
We'd like to introduce you to the Banstead Area University of the Third Age,usually called Banstead Area U3A.
The U3A is open to residents aged 50 upwards and has about 40 different activities available.
In addition,U3A hold quarterly OPEN MEETINGS to which non-members are invited.
The next OPEN MEETING will be held Wednesday, April 16th, 2.30 - 4.30, at Banstead Community Hall, Park Rd. The title is "A Voyage Down the Thames".
There will be a talk,followed by light refreshments.
In May,during Banstead Village Festival week,Banstead Area U3A is sponsoring an evening of CLASSICAL INDIAN DANCING by Shyamali Basu Dance Group. There will be an interval for refreshments followed by further dances & audience participation will be available. Tickets, £8 inclusive of refreshments ,will be available from 25th March in IBIS Bookshop,Banstead High St; also from Banstead Music Shop.
The event will take place at Banstead Community Hall,Park Rd, Wednesday, May 7th, 7.30 p.m.
This event is part of Banstead Arts Society Festival week.
