It is a requirement of current data privacy legislation that organisations storing individuals’ personal data have positive assent from them relating to the purposes for which the data may be used.
The application form on this page is used to join the TWRA, which, as an organisation, is an Affiliated Member of Neighbourhood Watch. No personal data is shared by the TWRA with Neighbourhood Watch.
In completing and submitting the application form you confirm that you have read this privacy notice and agree with it.
The TWRA will use your contact details to keep you informed. Information may be sent to you by email or by printed matter delivered to your address. Regular email bulletins are sent to members, which contain information of interest to local residents. If you do not wish to receive these emails please advise us via the Contact form and we will remove you from the email distribution list. Printed copies of email bulletins are not available to be sent by post as an alternative.
The TWRA uses an external company, membermojo.co.uk, to store and process data and to distribute email newsletters and alerts on its behalf. membermojo will retain the data in a suitably secure environment entirely located in the UK. If at some future date you no longer wish to be a member of the TWRA they have facilities to permanently remove your details from their IT systems.
The TWRA will not pass your personal data to any other third party (other than as indicated above, or as required by law) without your specific permission.
